The updated Lada Vesta has been certified, the model is ready for production and start of sales. The document "Vehicle Type Approval" (OTTS) for a novelty appeared in the database of the electronic passport system, it was discovered by the Lada.Online portal.
The document indicates the technical characteristics of the updated Vesta. The overall dimensions of the model have changed: it is claimed that the length of sedans and station wagons will increase from 4410 mm to 4440 mm, and the length of the Cross versions - from 4424 mm to 4445 mm. The height of some modifications of the family will increase by several millimeters.
In technical terms, Lada Vesta will remain the same: after restyling, the model will retain 1.6 petrol atmospheric engines with a capacity of 106 and 113 hp, as well as a naturally aspirated 1.8 engine with 122 hp. The engines are combined with a manual gearbox and a Jatco CVT.
It is expected that Vesta will receive new bumpers and LED optics. The interior will be redesigned: the cars will be offered with a new front panel, a digital instrument cluster, a vertical multimedia system tablet, an updated steering wheel and a climate control unit from Renault Arkana. The presentation of the facelift Lada Vesta is expected in the first half of this year.
