An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fell on the roof of a residential building in the village of Log in the Volgograd region, reports V1.
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region confirmed the fact of the incident. No one was injured in the incident, and emergency services are on the scene.
According to the head of the rural settlement, Sergei Bogdanov, the UAV is a civilian one. At the same time, he denied that the drone "collapsed" on the residential building of one of the villagers.
“He did not dive and did not collapse, but carefully descended by parachute. There are no victims or injured. And none of the property was damaged - he landed on a canopy, ”he explained.
Bogdanov clarified that the device was launched by a company from St. Petersburg to inspect the gas pipeline, but company representatives denied their involvement in this incident.
Local residents said that the incident caused panic among eyewitnesses. They turned to the rescue service, as they decided that the drone that landed was a military one.
“The drone was filmed by this man five or six from the roof. It turned out to be a kind of mini-aircraft, ”said one of the local residents Alexander.
Earlier it was reported that the An-2 aircraft, owned by the Kamchatsky Krechet air transportation company, crashed near the village of Severnye Koryaki in the Kamchatka Territory.
