The amount of theft is more than 90 million rubles with a total contract price of 650 million, TASS reports, citing a law enforcement source. Following the results of operational-search activities, the investigative department of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the region on February 15 opened a criminal case under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Fraud on an especially large scale." The suspect has been detained. Now all the persons involved in illegal activities are being identified.
Aleksey Ryabchenkov, the acting head of the administration of Rybinsk, confirmed the information about the detention of the head of the contractor company.
"Today I held a meeting at a school on Traktornaya Street with the contractor who built the building. The school is showing new shortcomings that the company is obliged to eliminate under warranty," he wrote on his social media page.
According to and.about. heads of administration, FSB officers detained the head of the company right during the meeting. And earlier, the city administration provided law enforcement agencies with documents on this project.
"Today, Rybinsk is the affected party. It's a very unpleasant situation. I'm sure the investigation will look into all the details," Ryabchenkov concluded.
