A resident of England spent three days in the forest next to the corpse of his wife, reports the Mirror. The woman ran away from her husband into the thicket after a quarrel.

Mike Winter and his wife Angela were forced to live in a tent as they both lost their jobs due to the coronavirus and couldn't pay their bills. During the quarrel, the woman said that she could no longer be in such conditions, after which she ran into the forest.

Mike was sure that Angela would quickly return, so he did not stop her. When the wife did not return after a few days, the man went in search of her and found his wife dead.

Heartbroken, Winter lay next to Angela's body for three days before reporting it to the police. Mike was arrested on suspicion of murder, but the charges were dropped during the investigation.

Several drugs were found in Angela's blood, including paracetamol, which, in combination with each other, could lead to the death of a woman. The police concluded that it was suicide.

“We also found traces of pneumonia in her lungs,” said Dr. Alexander Kolar.

Earlier it became known that a Japanese soldier was hiding in the jungle for almost 30 years.
