Director of the Center N. F. Gamalei Alexander Gintsburg said that there were no complaints about the negative effects of vaccination against a new coronavirus infection in adolescents from 12 to 17 years old with the Sputnik M drug. It is reported by TASS.
“No complaints have been received, absolutely,” Gunzburg said.
He stressed that the total volume of the coronavirus vaccine for adolescents will gradually increase, and in two weeks the Generium company will be involved in the process. Thanks to this, all the required number of doses of Sputnik M, which are necessary for this age group, will be "instantly completed and delivered to the regions."
“As far as I remember, now about 60 thousand (doses) have been used, that is, 60% of what was supplied,” the scientist added.
Earlier, Gunzburg said that all children aged 6-11 in Moscow had already been ill with coronavirus, so the protocol for clinical trials of the Sputnik M vaccine needs to be changed. According to him, there were no children of this age group in the capital with negative tests for antibodies to COVID-19.
