Austria to allow Russian tourists to enter

Austria will allow entry of Russian tourists based on the results of the test for COVID-19. This is reported by TASS with reference to the Austrian Ministry of Tourism.

The new rules will come into effect on February 22.

The Austrian Ministry of Health indicated that entry from Russia would be allowed based on PCR tests and antigen tests.

The duration of the PCR test should not exceed 72 hours, the duration of the antigen test should not exceed 24 hours.

The Austrian Ministry of Health noted that entry from Russia is also possible subject to vaccination with a drug approved by the EMA or WHO, and upon recovery with an additional PCR test.

Earlier it was reported that the Lithuanian visa centers are starting to accept applications for the issuance of Schengen for all purposes of travel.

Starting March 31, 2022, citizens can enterritory of Lithuania with a valid Schengen visa and upon presentation of a negative PCR test (made no more than 72 hours before arrival in Lithuania) or a certificate of vaccination with a vaccine recognized in Lithuania, according to the VFS Global website . At the same time, when submitting documents, the applicant must confirm that he will enter the country no earlier than March 31, 2022.
