From February 1 to February 15, 2022, at least 21 car brands in Russia saw increases in car prices. This is reported by "Autostat".

Korean Kia and Hyundai, leaders of the Russian market of foreign cars, increased the cost of most of their models by 0.8-3.8% and 1.1-4.0%, respectively. The entire model range became more expensive for Japanese Mazda (by 1.8 - 2.0%), Subaru (by 1.7 - 2.9%) and American Cadillac (by 2.9 - 5.1%).

Some models have become more expensive at the German Volkswagen (crossovers have increased in price by 0.1 - 2.2%). Chinese Geely (by 0.9 - 1.7%) and Changan (by 4.7 - 6.3%), as well as Czech Skoda (by 2.4 - 4.6%) have risen in price for three models, two more American Chevrolet (by 2.9 - 3.5%).

Some companies have increased the cost of only one model. For example, the German Opel (Crossland; by 3.1 - 7.9%), the American Jeep (Grand Cherokee; by 3.2 - 4.0%) and the Japanese Lexus (LC 500; by 1.1% in one configuration ).

In January of this year, car prices increased by 30 car brands represented in Russia. According to the expert, by the end of the year, car prices will rise by 15%.
