According to the doctor, representatives of creative professions, as well as those whose work is connected with communication, helping people, such as doctors, teachers, social workers, and lawyers, are primarily affected by emotional burnout.

The main symptom of this condition is a feeling of emotional exhaustion, indifference, and in extreme cases depression. There may also be a negative attitude towards colleagues, clients, patients, rudeness, irritability, a negative perception of oneself as a professional, and lack of confidence in one's skills.

Among the risk factors, Yaroslav Zhuravlev named unfavorable working conditions (without breaks, vacations), conflict relations in the team, psychologically difficult contingent, increased employee responsibility. The cause can also be a traumatic situation - the death of loved ones, an accident. Contribute to rapid burnout and some personal qualities - perfectionism, excessive demands on oneself.

As a preventive measure, the expert advised not to set initially impossible goals. You need to try to organize the workflow correctly, there must be breaks in it.
