Sergei Tsekov, a member of the Federation Council from Crimea, told RIA Novosti that evacuees from Donbass could be accepted not only in the Rostov region, but also on the peninsula.

“Russia is doing everything to receive refugees from Donbass. We, Crimeans, are ready to quickly resolve this issue,” the senator said.

In his opinion, refugees will also receive assistance within the framework of the activities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Tsekov recalled that some residents can move to their relatives in Russia.

Earlier, the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky plans to give an order to go on the offensive in the Donbass in the near future, and announced an evacuation. According to him, the Donetsk military daily records the increase in the number of lethal weapons by the armed forces of Ukraine, including the Smerch and Uragan multiple launch rocket systems, as well as the American Javelin and Stinger man-portable missile systems.
