A group of journalists came under fire near Gorlovka, according to the Donetsk News Agency (DAN).

“It was near the car that was blown up in the morning. They shot at us with LNG, we took cover in the trenches of the old ones, they were flooded with water, but on the other hand they were alive. Now we are all back together. Everything is fine,” said Donetsk photojournalist Oleksandr Gayuk.

He clarified that with him were journalists from the United States Patrick Lancaster, Italy Vittorio Rangeloni and from Russia Nadezhda Chicherova.

Earlier it became known that an improvised explosive device went off on the Donetsk-Gorlovka highway, as a result, three people in the car died. According to the head of the People's Militia Department of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, Eduard Basurin, the explosion was staged by Ukrainian saboteurs.

In fact, the chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin ordered an investigation into the incident.
