Russia (bbabo.net) - The northern capital and the Leningrad region will remain in the power of the North Atlantic cyclone Antonia on February 22, but on the 23rd it will become noticeably colder in the city and the region.

Today, the central part of the cyclone will cause sleet in St. Petersburg, turning into rain, Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist of the Phobos Center, said on his Facebook page. The weather will be cloudy and ice may form on the roads and sidewalks. The air temperature in the city will be from +1 to +3 degrees, in the Leningrad region -1...+4 degrees is expected.

On a holiday the sun will come out, but it will be frosty. According to the forecast of the North-Western UGMS, in St. Petersburg the thermometers will drop to -5...-7 degrees at night, from -1 to -3 degrees in the daytime. Atmospheric pressure will rise, the roads will be icy.

It will become especially noticeably colder in the Leningrad region. At night, the air temperature will drop to -3...-8 degrees, and in some places - to -13 degrees. On the afternoon of February 23, it will be -1...-6 degrees outside the window, in some areas - up to -9 degrees.
