Psychologist Vorgul gave advice on how not to become a victim of hypnotist scammers

Some scammers masterfully master the methods of oppressing consciousness - hypnosis, said psychologist Tatyana Vorgul. Most often, according to her, attackers use a practice such as neuro-linguistic programming (NLP). Moreover, there can be quite a lot of NLP techniques in the "arsenal" of scammers.

“One of the NLP techniques is often used even in communication. It's about the three yes's. The person is asked questions that are supposed to be answered in the affirmative. After three “yes” said, the fourth one will be received automatically by the questioner,” the specialist explained.

In turn, Vorgul noted that it is quite possible to recognize a fraudster using hypnosis.

“You always need to pay attention to the speed of speech of those with whom you communicate. As a rule, scammers use a well-established text “without blots”, which a person pronounces quickly enough. Such an effect is necessary so that the “victim of fraud” does not have time to come to his senses and come to his senses, ”the expert recommends.

The psychologist also advises to follow the phrases of a suspicious interlocutor: usually scammers use repetitive formulations.

“Frequently referred to by name can also be a common influencing factor. The name is exactly what a person hears most often in his life, so associations arise in the subconscious that “provoke” the formation of quick trust,” Vorgul pointed out.

In a conversation with psychologists, they also drew up a portrait of the victims of scammers.
