Ukrainian minister asked Musk to provide the country with Starlink stations

The Minister of Digital Information of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov asked the American entrepreneur and founder of Tesla Elon Musk to provide Ukraine with Starlink stations and access to satellite Internet. He announced this Twitter.

“I turned to Elon Musk on Twitter ... We need support - he asked to provide Ukraine with Starlink stations and access to satellite Internet as soon as possible,” he wrote.

Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba called on US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to influence European countries that doubt the need to disconnect Russia from the SWIFT international payment system.

The minister added that in addition to discussing SWIFT, he spoke with the head of the State Department about the supply of defensive weapons to Kiev.

Prior to this, Bloomberg reported that the ban on Russian financial institutions from using the SWIFT system was not included in the next package of anti-Russian sanctions imposed by the European Union.
