Therefore, if the traveler expects the flight to be canceled, but has not yet received official notification of this, the ticket should not be returned.

“To sum up, the general principle: if you know that there will be no flight logically (the airport is closed, but there is a flight in the schedule), wait for the airline’s notification and make an involuntary return.
