The father of the ex-director of the Anti-Corruption Foundation (the organization is included by the Ministry of Justice in the list of foreign agents and banned in Russia) (FBK) Ivan Zhdanov, Yuri Zhdanov, was sentenced to three years probation in a fraud case. This was announced by the lawyer of the accused Vladimir Voronin on his Twitter.

Zhdanov was also assigned a two-year probationary period. After the entry into force of the verdict, Zhdanov will be prohibited from changing his permanent place of residence without prior notification of government agencies.
The FBK organization, previously recognized as extremist in Russia, was excluded from the register of foreign agents in connection with the liquidation, the Ministry of Justice said.
They stressed that the procedure is "purely technical". At the same time, the ministry recalled that FBK is included in the list of organizations in respect of which a court decision has come into force on the liquidation or prohibition of activities on the basis of the law on countering extremist activities.
