A resident of the United States found her cat two years after the loss, writes the UPI edition. Members of a charitable organization, to whom the woman's pet got to, helped to organize the long-awaited meeting.

As Nicole Watkins said, they were driving with their son and two cats when they made a short stop, during which a cat named Naomi ran away into the forest. The woman rushed to look for the animal, but this did not bring any result.

Nicole later posted pictures of Naomi around the area and posted posts on social networks in the hope of finding the missing animal. For two years, Watkins did not know anything about the fate of the cat, until employees of the charity Friends2Ferals contacted the American.

The volunteers told Nicole that they found Naomi on the highway. Suspecting that she might be at home, they took her to the vet. The doctor, having examined the cat, found a chip with information about the owners on it - thus the volunteers managed to contact Watkins and organize the reunion of the owner with the pet.

“I cried, jumped with joy and could not believe it,” - admits Watkins.

Earlier, a resident of England spent almost all of her savings to save the cats she found on vacation in Turkey.
