In the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, a pensioner sacrificed a six-month-old child of her husband's nephew to heal her husband from illness. This is reported by the India Today edition.

The publication writes that 32-year-old Nasirudin was married to Shalikha, the couple had a daughter. Nasirudhin's uncle Asaruddin worked abroad and recently returned. He was often ill, and his wife Sharmila Begum consulted with a Muslim Tantrik, who told her to sacrifice a child without shedding blood in order to save her husband.

The woman decided to sacrifice Shaliha's six-month-old daughter. She came to the house of relatives and abducted the child. Waking up, Shalikha panicked and began looking for the child. Then Sharmila took the child's mother to the courtyard of the house, where the child was drowned in water. Shaliha said she resisted, but the pensioner forced her to bury the child's body in the backyard.

The police found out about the incident, exhumed the body and sent it for examination.

Earlier it was reported that in Bashkiria, an employee of the ritual service drowned an acquaintance and hid the body in someone else's grave.
