This is reported by TASS with reference to the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Dmitry Demeshin, who made a working trip to the Altai Territory. According to him, inspectors and heads of control bodies, who entered into informal corruption relations with the owners of mines and open-pit mines, were provided with cars with drivers. The cars were bought by the owners of the mines. Relatives of inspectors were hired for high-paying jobs in the coal industry.

So, the head of the regional state labor inspectorate arranged for her brother at one of the enterprises, he received a large salary, and during the inspections the inspectorate did not find any violations. And the prosecutor's check after the tragedy at Listvyazhnaya revealed a lot of violations, including those of a critical nature, which could have resulted in victims. Demeshin explained that the violations were revealed at a coal enterprise near the Listvyazhnaya mine, located in the neighboring territory.

On the eve of the Deputy Prosecutor General, during a working trip to Kuzbass, he held a personal reception in Novokuznetsk for miners and their families. The reason was numerous violations of industrial safety rules at mining enterprises. In particular, as a result of these violations, the miners were injured, but the injuries they received were registered as received in everyday life.
