“This year we have noted the growing interest of Russians in the Pembroke Welsh Corgi breed. Unsurprisingly, these favorites of the Queen of Great Britain are capturing the hearts of Russians. They are renowned for their natural magnetism, good looks and charm. If that year this breed occupied only the sixth line of the rating of the most popular breeds, then this year the corgi is already on the fourth place, ”the expert said.
The poodle was also included in the rating for the first time. Dogs of this breed are distinguished by good health, have the status of long-livers and docile nature.
In general, there is a tendency among compatriots to have companion dogs that are small in size and are ready to follow their owner everywhere.
The most popular breed among Russians this year turned out to be the German Spitz, the second place was taken by the Chihuahua, and the third - by the Yorkshire Terrier. Also in the top 10 were the Shepherd Dog, Labrador Retriever, Jack Russell Terrier, Central Asian Shepherd Dog and French Bulldog.
