Russia (bbabo.net), - Employees of the border department of the FSB of Russia in the Primorsky Territory seized more than two tons of dried trepang for 400 million rubles from one of the private houses of Ussuriisk, TASS reports with reference to the Public Relations Center of the FSB of Russia.

The house belongs to a Russian citizen. In it, law enforcement officers found hiding places with a Far Eastern sea cucumber. The owner could not provide documents confirming the legality of its origin.

"More than two tons of dried shellfish were packed in plastic bags and hidden behind the wall cladding," the Public Relations Center said.

This volume of seized was the largest in recent years. It is preliminarily considered that the damage caused to aquatic biological resources exceeds 400 million rubles. The issue of initiating a criminal case is being resolved.
