In the Krasnodar Territory, a police officer died in a hospital after being injured by a pyrotechnic projectile hitting the head on New Year's Eve.

“On January 1, at about 00:05, a message was received that while on duty, an inspector of the traffic police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kushchevsky district was injured from a pyrotechnic shell hit in the head. He was hospitalized. Police officers are taking measures aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident, "- stated in the message.

According to the newspaper "Notebook", the fireworks were launched by one of the local Cossack vigilantes.

Earlier in Khabarovsk, a man staged fireworks at the entrance of a residential building.

The published footage shows the explosions of firecrackers inside the entrance. Then a man comes out of the entrance and, having thrown away the exploding shells, moves away from them in the opposite direction.

According to eyewitnesses, the man received a charge of salutes right in the face, but miraculously was not injured.
