A printing house was found in Moscow that printed fake COVID certificates, according to Moskva 24.

The suspects sold forgeries through instant messengers, couriers delivered documents to buyers. The buyers of fake certificates face criminal prosecution, and all forged papers will be canceled.

According to Russia 24, two women were detained. Police officers also tracked down the phone numbers of the clandestine printing house's customers. It is clarified that the forged documents were of poor quality and would not have passed the check.

Earlier, the Gamaleya Center reported that a test was created in Russia that allows you to identify the authenticity of vaccination against coronavirus. According to virologist Alexander Butenko, every fifth Russian with a vaccination certificate has a fake document.
