Russia (bbabo.net), - The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Krasnodar Territory announced a storm warning due to avalanche danger in mountainous areas. According to forecasts, the danger will persist at least until Monday evening, the department said in a warning.

According to the ministry, from 7 to 10 January in the mountains of the Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea, an avalanche will be dangerous at an altitude of 2.5 thousand meters. At the same time, the warning does not apply to Sochi.

Also, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that according to the forecast, wet snow and wind up to 20-23 meters per second are expected in mountainous regions. The temperature at night drops to -5 degrees in places, and rises to +5 during the day.

The department reminds that in case of an avalanche danger, you should not go to the mountains in bad weather and snow. While walking, you should know the places of possible avalanches.
