The Kazakhstani security forces will carry out "cleansing" operations of marauders and participants in the riots in Almaty at night. This is reported by Ura.ru.

The agency's correspondents explained that most of the militants are in the private sector. During the day they sleep off, and at night they go out into the streets of the city.

Residents of the city and the police claim that in addition to bandits and looters, trained terrorists operated in Alma-Ata. It is assumed that among them there could be Islamists. It was they, according to the agency, who took part in the seizure of the city hospital.

In total, the demonstrators surrounded two hospitals in Alma-Ata - the first and the seventh. On January 6, armed men brought the wounded criminals to hospital No. 7 and demanded that doctors provide assistance.

In Alma-Ata, riots have not abated for several days. The rioters were able to capture several administrative buildings and the airport. Since January 6, a counter-terrorist operation has been going on in the city, the military, including the CSTO contingent, have been brought into the city. The security forces were able to take control over the airport only two days later - on January 7.

Currently, over 4.4 thousand people have been detained in Kazakhstan, participating in the riots in several regions of the country, including foreign citizens.
