Russia (bbabo.net), - On January 28, on the territory of the Luzhniki sports complex, with the support of the Department of Sports of the City of Moscow, unique biathlon competitions "Race of the Stars" will be held. According to the organizers of the competition, the race will take place on the ski-biathlon track. The start of the race will take place at 18:00.

20 teams will take part in the race, each of which will have 2 people: a biathlon or ski star and a trained amateur. As expected, world and European champions, Olympic medalists Nikolai Kruglov, Anton Shipulin, Alexander Legkov, Anna Bogaliy, Viktor Vasilyev, Matvey Eliseev and others will take part. The competition will be held according to the rules of the mixed biathlon relay. In order to get into the team with the stars and get the opportunity to compete together for the prizes of the competition, biathlon and skiing enthusiasts will go through a special selection, based on which teams will be formed. The popular biathlon commentator, showman, sports journalist Dmitry Guberniev will lead the event, keeping the audience from getting bored.

Recall that the ski and biathlon track in Luzhniki is a unique sports facility. Previously, free skiing in Moscow was possible only at special ski bases or in forest park areas, but now you can enjoy your favorite sport almost in the very center of Moscow, overlooking historical sports facilities. The length of the track is also symbolic - 2,022 meters. The creators of the project say that such a figure will bring good luck in the new year to everyone who gets up on skis and spend time outdoors.

The ski and biathlon track in Luzhniki will be open daily from 10:00 to 22:00 until February 28.
