Another change took place in Almaty "Kairat" - Ivan Danilyants entered the coaching staff of the main team. The correspondent of bbabo.net talked about this with Pavel Cherepanov, who explained what this appointment is connected with and why Kurban Berdyev needs such a specialist.

- Pavel Petrovich, is Ivan Danilyants' arrival to Kairat as an assistant to Kurban Berdyev a surprise for you?

- It's definitely not a surprise for me. Firstly, last February Kurban Bekievich flew to Almaty for talks with Kairat Boranbaev. We talked for a couple of hours. To my question about the health of Ivan Albertovich, and he had a serious injury, Berdyev said that the treatment was completed and he was ready to go.

Secondly, in one of my recent interviews on your site, I spoke of anxiety and concern due to the fact that a large group of leading players are leaving Kairat. In this regard, Danilyants' experience in working with youth will be very useful. This is one of the reasons why he is invited to the club.

- Are you sure that he is exactly the specialist that Berdyev needs at the moment? And what do you see as another reason for inviting Danilyants?

- Sure. Right at the moment! By the way, Ivan Albertovich also has a successful experience of working in Rostov with highly qualified professionals.

Now for the second reason. The fact is that in order to make decisions on the organization of effective training work, Berdyev needs an opponent, or rather a whole group of specialists with a high level of knowledge and skills, instead of those who faithfully look him in the eye, catching every word. I say this because I know how the work was organized in Rubin and Rostov.

- From your words, can we conclude that the training process in Kairat was ineffective? And what was unusual about the work of Kurban Berdyev, which brought outstanding results?

- To a certain extent, the answer to the first question is contained in a recent interview with Nuraly Alip, which he gave during a training camp with Zenit. He was asked about his impressions related to training. Alip said: "It's a high level, so the training is very fast paced. It's very interesting, two sessions a day. To be honest, I've never trained like this. Everything is very interesting and new to me, I'm pleasantly impressed."

Nuraly played his first game for the main team of Kairat on March 11, 2018. Since then, four head coaches have worked at the club. Surprisingly, the training of these specialists did not leave positive impressions in the memory of the football player. Whether these words apply to all coaches, I can’t say. I admit that this interview is emotions and a desire to thank Zenit in this way for the opportunity to train with the team at the training camp in the Emirates.

To answer the second question, it is enough to recall the well-known words that "the king is made by the retinue." In "Rubin" and "Rostov" she worked very effectively, because she consisted of highly qualified specialists. The pluralism of opinions in the organization of the training process at all its stages, from large cycles to individual training sessions, was encouraged by Berdyev himself. Clearly, he had the last word. In case of failures, he never nodded in the direction of the "retinue", he always took responsibility for himself.

In this respect, Kurban Bekievich is similar to Jurgen Klopp, who appreciates when someone questions his decisions, disagrees with everything and is not afraid to speak harsh words.

- You have been in Berdyev's coaching staff for ten years, now you are not there. Why?

You are not the first person to ask me this question. I do not remember that Kairat again hired those who had already been fired from the club. This, in my opinion, is the first, but not the main reason.

The second is that Kurban Bekievich does not need digital analytical programs that help evaluate the effectiveness of the game of football players today, since his experience and knowledge are quite enough for successful work. I'll give you an example.

Once the dynamics of the metric "the number of accurate tackles" showed a subsidence of this important indicator of the quality of defensive actions. The conclusion is obvious - effective correction of the training process is impossible without the use of digital techniques that identify patterns and "bottlenecks" in the team's game.From my own experience and observations, I know that the cuts of game moments that videographers make are limited to all analytical work in most of our clubs. Cuts are important for analyzing the game, but this is not a dynamic analysis of the effectiveness of individual technical and tactical actions of football players from round to round, from game to game! This is especially important for the selection and monitoring of the level of preparation of football players of national teams.

It has long been proven that the result in football depends on its quality. Everyone knows this, but the game of the players is stubbornly determined "by eye", relying on experience, some on intuition, some on something else. In most cases, the result is the same - an urgent search for a new job.

- Why did you close the telegram channel? It was actively developed, game analytics and methodological material on the development of game thinking of football players were placed.

- Yes, indeed, the channel was focused on talking not about football, but about football. About the game itself and its quality. The number of subscribers grew to three hundred, and some posts were viewed by three thousand people.
