The Russian national team will play play-offs at the Dynamo stadium

Russia (bbabo.net), - The Russian national football team will play play-offs for the right to play at the 2022 World Cup at the Dynamo Stadium in Moscow. This decision was made taking into account the unstable epidemiological situation due to the coronavirus pandemic. Earlier, the RFU announced that the matches will be held at Luzhniki.

RFU Secretary General Alexander Alaev explained the decision to change the arena by the fact that at present there is no way to objectively assess the epidemiological situation that will develop in Moscow by the end of March.

"The transfer of the game to Dynamo will allow, even taking into account possible additional attendance restrictions, to count on the fact that the national team will not be left without the necessary support at a decisive moment," the RFU website quotes him as saying.

On March 24, the Russian team will meet with Poland, and if they win, they will play in the final play-off with the winner of the meeting between Sweden and the Czech Republic.
