Football player of the Russian national team Fedor Smolov scored the winning goal and helped Dynamo Moscow beat Sochi in the test match.

The meeting, held on Wednesday in Turkish Belek, ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of Dynamo. Giorgi Sulakvelidze opened the scoring in the 10th minute, Smolov scored in the 47th minute, and in the 87th minute, the younger brother of Spartak football player Danil Prutsev Egor (87) scored one goal.

Earlier Thursday, the White-Blues played another test match, in which they lost to Dinamo Tbilisi with a score of 0:1.

Schwartz spoke about Smolov's adaptation to Dynamo Football Smolov's former team, Lokomotiv Moscow, also played a test match at the training camp in Spain on Thursday, beating Sweden's Gothenburg 4-2. Yan Kukhta (8), Rifant Zhemaletdinov (68), Jirano Kerk (75) and Maciej Rybus (85) distinguished themselves among the railway workers.

Smolov moved to Dynamo in January, signing a contract with the Blue and White until 2024 under the 1.5+1 scheme. The 31-year-old forward has been playing for Lokomotiv since the summer of 2018.

Smolov began his adult career at Dynamo in 2007 and played for the Blue and White until 2015, while still playing on loan for Feyenoord Rotterdam, Anji Makhachkala and Ural Yekaterinburg. From 2015 to 2018, Smolov played for Krasnodar, from where he moved to Lokomotiv. In the spring of 2020, the striker played on loan for the Spanish Celta.

As part of the Russian national team, Smolov played 45 matches in which he scored 16 goals.
