CSKA footballer Fedor Chalov, who joined Basel on loan, shared his first impressions of Switzerland in an interview with Nau.ch.

“Switzerland is beautiful, as I imagined. There is excellent infrastructure for a good life. Basel is a very beautiful and comfortable city. The people here are very open and friendly, which helped me to quickly acclimatize,” said Chalov.

According to the forward, the big difference from Russia is the roads. “They are great in Switzerland, I noticed that right away,” he added.
