American snowboarder Chloe Kim won the halfpipe competition at the Beijing Olympics, becoming a two-time winner of the Games in this discipline.
In the best of three attempts, Kim scored 94.00 points. The second place was taken by the representative of Spain Keralt Castellet (90.25), who brought her country the first medal of the Games in Beijing. The bronze medal was won by Sena Tomita (88.25).
