The day before, Zhusupov officially signed a contract with Suleimen Promotions. He has already started training with team members.
- I thought about the transition for a long time. It was not an easy process. I look up to Gennady Golovkin and Zhanibek Alimkhanuly. When I thought about going pro, I met with representatives of Suleimen Promotions. I liked their approach. They hold cool boxing evenings, they approach the training process with high quality. I discussed everything with them and made my choice, - said Zhusupov.
- Will you compete in amateur competitions?
- I can not tell. Now I can't say anything. Time will tell.
- Have you thought of a pseudonym yet?
- I'm already thinking about a pseudonym. After a few fights, the nickname will appear by itself.
- How do you like the team's boxers?
- The guys are all great. I like to train with them.
- What are your future plans?
- I don't know when the fight will be. However, it will be soon. I will fight at 66 kilos (welterweight). Now I will train and prepare. Everything else will be said in the promotional company.
Recall that Zhusupov won bronze at the World Championships three times, once became the second at the Asian Championships, and also became the best at the World Youth Championships.
