Another provocative step was taken by the authorities of Ukraine in relation to the Republic of Belarus. With deep disappointment, the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Belarus perceived the information about the replacement of the state flag of its country near the building of the city council of the Dnieper with the symbols of collaborators and punishers of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War. A message about this was posted on February 9 on the information portal of the Belarusian embassy in Kiev.
