The best tennis player of Kazakhstan lost several positions and moved away from the top 10

The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has updated the rankings in singles and doubles. And if in a pair Kazakhstan has a new record, then in singles, things, on the contrary, are sad, according to bbabo.net.

If we start with the good, then Anna Danilina has improved her position in the doubles ranking. Now the finalist of the Australian Open-2022 has risen one more line, and holds a record 23rd place for herself in doubles. Danilina is still confidently leading among Kazakhstani women, being the first racket of the country in pairs. The top 100 also includes Elena Rybakina, who was in 51st place (previously she was 50th).

But Rybakina’s affairs have not been going well in singles lately due to injuries and illnesses that prevent her from playing tournaments to the end. Last week, the 22-year-old tennis player was the 12th racket of the world, but now she has dropped to 16th line. Rybakina also refused to participate in the WTA 500 tournament in Dubai (UAE), and risks losing a few more lines in the ranking by next week.

Yulia Putintseva has dropped one position and is now world No. 42, while Zarina Diyas has moved up three lines to 114th.

Immediately, Danilina also climbed six lines in singles. Now she takes 335th place in the ranking. Anna has previously stated that her goal is to focus on both singles and couples.

Earlier, we talked about changes in the updated rating of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).
