In the United States, they declared Russia's disrespect for sports after Valieva's admission to the Games

The US Olympic and Paralympic Committee (NOC) is disappointed by the decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to allow Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva to compete in the Olympic Women's Singles Tournament despite a positive doping test. This is stated in a statement by the US NOC, which is quoted by Reuters.

“We are disappointed with this decision. Today, athletes were denied the right to identify the strongest in the sports arena, the decision says. "This is a new chapter in Russia's systematic and comprehensive disrespect for clean sport."

A laboratory in Stockholm accredited by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) detected the banned substance trimetazidine in a sample taken on December 25 at Valieva's victorious Russian Championship. However, a positive test became known only on February 8 during the Olympics. CAS in connection with this and the minority of Valieva decided that she could be admitted to the Games. The decision was published on Monday, February 14.
