Ferencváros Cherchesov returned to the leaders of the Hungarian football championship

Ferencváros Budapest, coached by the former head coach of the Russian national team Stanislav Cherchesov, returned to the first line in the Hungarian football championship table, beating Zalaegerszeg on the road.

The meeting, held on Sunday in the city of the same name, ended with a score of 3:1 in favor of the capital's team. Kristoffer Zachariassen (first minute), Ryan Mmae (34) and Endre Botka (49) scored goals for the winners.

Ferencváros won the second victory in four matches under the leadership of Cherchesov, scored 41 points and beat Puskas Akademi by one point, which in their match of the 20th round lost at home to this season's outsider MTK Budapest with a score of 1:2.
