Russia (bbabo.net), - Russian speed skater Angelina Golikova wins bronze in the 500m at the Beijing Winter Olympics.

American Erin Jackson won the race in 37.04 seconds. Japan's Miho Takagi finished second, 0.08 seconds behind Jackson. In turn, Golikova lagged behind the leader by 0.17 seconds.

Golikova's medal is the fourth for our team today.

Earlier, Alexander Bolshunov, Denis Spitsov, Sergey Ustyugov and Alexei Chervotkin won gold in the men's ski relay, short track skater Konstantin Ivliev took silver at a distance of 500 meters, and biathlete Eduard Latypov became the third in the pursuit race.
