An ethnic Kazakh from the Belarusian national team Dinara Alimbekova (+1:28.5) finished in 15th place. Galina Vishnevskaya-Sheporenko represented Kazakhstan, showing the 52nd result (+2:38.3).
In this discipline, the gold was won by the Norwegian biathlete Marte Olsby-Røiseland, who overcame the distance in 20 minutes and 44.3 seconds. Sweden's Elvira Oeberg (+30.9) was second, while Italy's Dorothea Wierer was third (+37.2).
