Russia (bbabo.net), - Honored coach of the USSR in figure skating Tatyana Tarasova celebrates her jubilee on February 13 - on this day she turned 75 years old.

Tatyana Tarasova was born on February 13, 1947 in Moscow in the family of the famous hockey coach Anatoly Tarasov. The father also put Tatiana on the ice. But after the World Universiade in 1966, she was injured, because of which she had to give up her career as a figure skater. But Tarasova was able to become an excellent mentor for skaters.

Tarasova has trained more than 40 world and European champions, and ten of them have become Olympic champions. Moreover, she, as a mentor, prepared world champions in all four types: couples, dances, men, women. Her students have won a total of 41 gold medals at World and European Championships and seven Olympics.

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the hero of the day today.
