The Finnish national ice hockey team won a strong-willed victory over the Swedish team in the final round match of the group stage at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, bbabo.net reports.
During the game, the Swedes led 3-0, scoring three goals in the power play in the second period. Lukas Wallmark (25th minute), Lukas Bengtsson (29th) and Anton Lander (32nd) distinguished themselves.
In the final period, the Finns bounced back. First, in the 45th minute, Teemu Hartikainen scored in the majority, and then the ex-player of Barys Iiro Pakarinen scored a double (56th and 58th) and turned the match into overtime.
The Finns won in overtime with a goal by Harri Pesonen (63rd).
