So, in the women's ski relay race, where Ksenia Shalygina, Angelina Shuryga, Nadezhda Stepashkina and Irina Bykova competed, Kazakhstan took 15th place. And the women's team of Russia won gold here, which was ahead of Germany and Sweden. Veronika Stepanova, who competed for Russia, became the youngest Olympic champion in the history of cross-country skiing.

In biathlon Alexander Mukhin finished 49th and Vladislav Kireev finished 77th. Gold in the sprint was taken by the Norwegian Johannes Be. He was able to get ahead of the Frenchman Quentin Fillon-Maillet and his brother Tarja Be.

And in skating at 500 meters, Ivan Arzhanikov became the 28th out of 30 participants. In this discipline, Chinese speed skater Gao Tingyu won the gold, who set an Olympic record. The second place was taken by the South Korean Cha Min Gyu, and the third was the Japanese Wataru Morishige.
