Kazakhstan will host a major women's tournament Forte 60 Woman's with a prize fund of $60,000

From February 21 to February 27, 2022, the National Tennis Center will host the ITF World Tennis Tour Forte 60 Woman’s international competition, the press service of the FTC reports.

Players from the TOP-100 and 200 of the world ranking will take part. Among them: Belgian Gret Minnen (96th number in the WTA ranking), winner of four Grand Slam tournaments in doubles Hungarian Timea Babos (202nd), British Harriet Dart (132nd), Japanese Miya Hontama (138th) , Ukrainian Daria Snigur (141st), Spaniard Alena Bolshova (151st), Mariam Bolkvadze (177th) from Georgia and others.

The honor of Kazakhstan will be defended by: Zhibek Kulambayeva, Gozal Ainitdinova, Aruzhan Sagandykova, Dana Baidaulet, Ekaterina Dmitirichenko and others.

The women's ITF World Tennis Tour tournaments include competitions in five categories: $15,000, $25,000, $60,000, $80,000 and $100,000. The tournament in Nur-Sultan will be of the third category.

At the last tournament of this level last summer in Nur-Sultan, the title was won by Mariam Bolkvadze from Georgia.
