In the national team of Kazakhstan in speed skating, a replacement was made in the composition of participants in competitions at a distance of 1000 meters among men. Dmitry Morozov will replace Ivan Arzhanikov at the Olympic start, reports bbabo.net.
"At a distance of 1000 meters for men, Dmitry Morozov will compete instead of Ivan Arzhanikov. We were forced to make this substitution - Ivan will not be able to take part in the competition for health reasons. We decided that Dmitry will start.
This is far from his range. However, he has shown himself well recently at 1500 meters. And it will be a good workout for him. Also, participation in these competitions will serve as a warm-up for him before the mass start,” said head coach Dmitry Babenko.
We add that Denis Kuzin will also perform at a distance of 1000 meters for men. The competition will take place tomorrow, February 18. Start at 14:30 Nur-Sultan time.
