Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov assessed the results of the Beijing Olympics in women's single skating, where Anna Shcherbakova won the gold.

“Well, this is the sport of the highest achievements. The strongest wins," Peskov told TASS.

He also added that Vladimir Putin has not yet seen the performance of athletes in Beijing. “I haven’t looked yet. It works,” Peskov said.
