Bolshunov: I don't consider myself great. Am I the king of skis? This is what you need to ask

Russia (bbabo.net), - Russian skier Alexander Bolshunov shared his emotions after winning the 30 km freestyle race, after which he became a three-time Olympic champion.

How did they react to the news that instead of 50 kilometers of the marathonthere will be only 30?

Alexander Bolshunov: A little upset. Even in such conditions it was possible to run 50 km. When we ran, the weather more or less calmed down, not such a strong wind, not so cold, but, in principle, with such a wind, this 30-ku can be compared with fifty kopecks, because here both the altitude and difficult conditions.

What words would you use to describe what's on your mind right now?

Alexander Bolshunov: I would say what kind, but you can't say them. And now you start to give news again. And the feelings are great.

Where did you get such fashionable shoes?

Alexander Bolshunov: Gold. After the skiathlon, in which I won gold, I saw them and thought: it would be nice if I also had such. Moreover, I have a gold medal. And so, when I earned the third, they brought me shoes. Basically, they suit me.

You have three golds at this Olympics, Klebo has two. Is this a key moment for you?

Alexander Bolshunov: It would be nice if there were four. But three… I am really thankful that I was able to win three golds here plus two more medals. It's something incredible.

After the first gold, we asked you - can we already call you a great racer? You said that not enough gold medals. What do you think now? Can I call you great?

Alexander Bolshunov: You can call me whatever you want, but I don't consider myself great. Because there are still many athletes who have many more medals.

Do you consider yourself the king of skis?

Alexander Bolshunov: We should ask you this.

Still, the winner of the 50-kilometer marathon is called the king of skiing. And there were only 30…

Alexander Bolshunov: Apparently, the distance was shortened on purpose like this.

You fell after the finish line. No strength left?

Alexander Bolshunov: He fell because he wanted to kiss the Chinese snow. Because I want to say a big thank you to the Chinese land for accepting me so well, and I was able to become a three-time Olympic champion here.

Now you and the banner at the closing ceremony?

Alexander Bolshunov: I don't know, we'll see. There is not long to wait.

Do you have a desire?

Alexander Bolshunov: As they say. They say I'll take it. I am for".

Will the rest be long?

Alexander Bolshunov: At least a month. Everything, the Olympic Games have passed, you can tie (laughs).

After the finish, you approached the Brazilian, the Greek and the Croat, who finished last. What were they told?

Alexander Bolshunov: Congratulated the guys that they finished. They congratulated me.

Bolshunov: I don't consider myself great. Am I the king of skis? This is what you need to ask
