Oksana Ten, being the vice-president of the federation, on January 21, 2022, signed a telegram sent to the regions, informing them that the Kazakhstan figure skating championship would be held on February 21-23, 2022 in Almaty. The National Skating Federation has declared that this document is not valid. According to the organization, the national championship will be held in December 2022. Participants will be informed about the place and exact date of the event later.
It was also noted that the vice-presidents of the federation do not have the right to sign and use the seal, as well as the right to make sole decisions. Regulations on holding republican competitions are considered collectively, taking into account the interests of athletes and the opinion of the coaching staff.
