Vyacheslav Shvyrev is a fast and nimble young player who can close any offensive position. This is quite interesting, because he became an attacking player quite by accident.

“At Shakhtar, they put me at full back, and I didn’t like playing there. Later, at some match or training session, my father approached the coach and said: “Try to put him as a striker, let him run.” We were losing 6-0, mentor put me forward and I scored the only goal. Since then, I have only played as a striker," he said.

He started playing football in the village of Agadyr, with a yard team he went to various competitions. In Taraz, Shvyrev was spotted by Shakhtar scouts. Being a player of the Moscow "Kairat", Shvyrev said that he likes to play attacking football and does not like to "sit out on the defensive."

“Any boy dreams of playing for the national team of Kazakhstan. I have the same dream - to play for my team, for my people, for my country,” Shvyrev said.
