CSKA beat Spartak in the central match of the RPL tour

Russia (bbabo.net), - CSKA turned out to be stronger than Spartak in a principled derby within the framework of the 19th round of the Russian Premier League - 2:0. Yussuf Yazydzhi and Baktiyor Zaynutdinov excelled.

In the winter off-season, Spartak and CSKA have seen big changes. The “red-whites” changed head coach – the place of Rui Vitoria was taken by the Italian Paolo Vanoli, while the army team reinforced the squad with several newcomers. Four of them - Jorge Carrascal, Jean-Philippe Gbamen, Jesus Medina and Youssuf Yazici - appeared on the field from the first minutes.

Unlike the first round derby, today's match turned out to be quite bright. Even in the starting 45 minutes, in which the spectators did not see any goals, there were moments. Quincy Promes hit the crossbar, the army team had a couple of dangerous counterattacks, but they failed to upset Alexander Selikhov.

However, already at the very beginning of the second half - in the 49th minute - Yazici opened the scoring, just breaking through from a free kick. Having conceded, the Spartacists became even more active, Vanoli made several substitutions. In particular, instead of Alexander Sobolev, the newcomer of the “red-whites” Shamar Nicholson came out. Carried away by the attack, the hosts in the end allowed the army team to score the second goal: Baktier Zainutdinov scored. As a result - 2:0 in favor of CSKA.

After 19 rounds, CSKA is in fourth place with 33 points. Only Sochi (34 points), Zenit (38) and Dynamo (39) are ahead. At the same time, Petrograders, unlike their competitors, have a match in reserve on Monday against Kazan's Rubin. As for Spartak, the Red-Whites are in ninth place with 23 points.
