Russian mixed martial arts fighter of Armenian origin Arman Tsarukyan (17-2), who is managed by Kazakh manager Sayat Abdrakhmanov, won an early victory at UFC Vegas 49 (UFC Fight Night 202), bbabo.net reports.

His opponent was Spaniard Yoel Alvarez (19-2). The welterweight fight was scheduled for three rounds, but ended with Tsarukyan's victory by TKO in the second.

Thus, Tsarukyan won the 18th victory with two defeats, while Alvarez suffered the third defeat with 19 wins.

Before the fight, both fighters were on a winning streak of four consecutive appearances, and now Tsarukyan has scored his fifth victory in a row.
