How much Kazakhstani boxers earned for 17 medals at the small world championship

The Strandzha Cup 2022 international tournament in Sofia (Bulgaria), which is also called the small world boxing championship, has ended, bbabo.net correspondent reports.

Kazakhstan won 17 medals (4-4-9), placing third in the team event. Uzbekistan is on the first line (6-0-1), on the second - Russia (5-5-11).

The men's team has nine medals. Gold was taken by Makhmud Sabyrkhan (up to 54 kilograms) and Sagyndyk Togambay (up to 86). Silver - Damir Abdikadir (up to 51) and Dulat Bekbauov (up to 67). Bronze - Sanzhar Tashkenbay (up to 48), Timur Kabdeshov (up to 51), Abzal Serik (up to 63.5), Abzal Kuttybekov (up to 92) and Nurlan Saparbay (over 92).

The women's team has eight medals. Gold was won by Nazim Kyzaybay (up to 50) and Valentina Khalzova (up to 70). Silver - Dina Zholaman (up to 54) and Lyazzat Kungeibaeva (over 81). Bronze - Rimma Volosenko (up to 60), Dariga Shakimova (up to 66), Nadezhda Ryabets (up to 75) and Anastasia Bayazitova (up to 81 kilograms).

The total prize fund of the tournament is $200,000. Champions received $4,000 each, finalists $2,000 each, and bronze medalists $1,000 each.
