Kazakhstani Islam Sovetov with a technical knockout reached the semifinals of the Asian Championship among youth and juniors, bbabo.net correspondent reports.

Sovetov forced the referee in the second round to stop the fight against Mohammadsina Mortazafiva from Iran, and three more Kazakhs won on points.

These are Almat Abduali, Bakhtiyar Anarbaev and Madiyar Taipakov. Earlier, Kazakhstanis won several more medals.

The semi-finals will be held on March 9 and 11, and the finals on March 14.
